Nice site, but very similar to http://crave.cnet.co.uk (which is a cross between CNET reviews and a pure gadget blog as is your stated objective) and Engadget, not sure yet of the reason to add another gadget blog to the mix: Let's see!

Hi,
Id like to see some articles on dedicated/managed web hosting companies, (rackspace etc)...
I think it would interest to new and upcoming 2.0 companies...

I am biased, but still I would tell you if you suck. This has been great so far - a good variety and a great amount of content, it has become one of my favourite feeds!

John, I may be biased, but I'm enjoying my new grandblog immensely!

Just wondering; are there any gadgets out there that will remind my son to call his mother occasionally?

Great job thus far. Could you make the RSS feed bigger though? It currently only displays the ten most recent articles, and that's not enough due to the frequency of updates.

OK so far but how about some good digital camera reviews for those of us that aren't photography geeks like "Digital Cameras for Bloggers"

Also don't forget those of us that live outside of the US. The unavailability of inexpensive mobile data networks in Australia means that some of the coolest gadgets are only pipe dreams here until the local telcos get their act together. Sure make us drool over the latest and greatest so we know what we're missing but also leave something for the rest of us.

How about a "how useful in everyday life" rating scale? For example, the breathalyser watch is great, but seeing that I'm not an alcoholic (I haven't been to an AA meeting in years!), do the features warrant carrying around the extra bulk?

The problem with "another gadget blog" is that there's just more noise to read. If I could glance at the picture, and a 3- or 4-criteria rating scale, I'm all over it.

Example--
Usefulness: 1/5
Interface: 17/5
Value: 4/5
Head turning capability: -2/5

...or something like that.

Man, already I don't have enough time in the day. Now with another great website, what am I to do?

Rock on! Keep it up.

John,

You are doing great so far! Loving the frequency and variety of posts. It is time someone gave gizmodo and engadget a run for their money!
