The frosted envelope design on this sharp-looking mailbox will tell you instantly whether you have mail. There’s a lock on the front to keep the neighbors at bay, but the tube on the bottom that holds newspapers and magazines is wide open.
On second thought, the frosted glass may allow you to see whether there’s mail without opening the box, but unless the mailbox is facing your house, you’ll still have to make the 20 yard walk out to the street anyway.

Umm…I’m assuming it’s the kind that’s supposed to mount on your wall beside your door. Not on a post in the front yard. Thus making it nicer to know whether to even bother digging your key out or not.

In Germany our houses tend to be near the street and our mailboxes are next to the door, so the postmen have to walk the 2 metres to the mailbox instead of us :) Looks really cool. If this was my house, I’d have such a thing already

Looks nice, but kind of weird that I don’t see it anywhere on the Trusted Reviews site. Mistake? Too bad I don’t have the choice of my own mailbox.

Where do you live?!?! My whole lot isn’t but 30 yards from one side to the other. How many people actually have a front yard that is 20 yards from the door to the street?
