asus-lamborghini-vx1.jpgWe’re not sure what kind of people buy Lamborghini-branded Notebooks. None of our friends have one and nobody we know is in the target market. But maybe that’s the point. Lambo owners are a selective crowd, and maybe it takes someone with lots of bucks to be able to plop down for a garishly-yellow $2,799 notebook.

Marketing talk aside, this Intel Core Duo-based notebook has a T2500 2GHz processor, a 160GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM, 15″ 1400×1050 LCD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400VX Special Edition, Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11 a/b/g WiFi. Lots of power in a little machine. The notebook will be unveiled at the 2006 Concorso Italiano on August 18th.
