So let's say you're on a freeway going 65 mph and there is a car about 3-5 feet behind you in the lane next to you. As you're driving, you see a truck ahead of you going about 50 mph. You decide to speed up so you can pass to the left lane, but according to the Mercedes Benz's "Pre-Safe System", if you get too close to the truck before switching lanes, it's going to brake for you?! Seems like that might put you in a position where you might end up side swiping another car. I guess I'll need to see this scenario in some kind of demo before making up my mind on this one.
