onkyo_00.jpgOnkyo’s making this PMP to be sort of a do-it-yourself approach to PMPs. The player fits a 2.5″ hard drive which you need to put in yourself – not to mention buy yourself. Then, better yet, it has no screen, so you’ll have to pipe out all your video through your TV. Wait, I haven’t gotten to the best part, the supported codecs.

Yes, because the casing is so large to fit a 2.5″ hard drive, they could manage to program in support for all these codecs: “MPEG-1/2/4, DivX, XviD (avi/mpg/mpeg/m2v/dat/ifo/vob), MP3/WMA/Ogg Vorbis/WAV and JPEG.” Very impressive for a player you can both plug into your TV and take on the go with you to listen to MP3s with. It even comes with a remote and a car charger, not to mention loads of cables.
