US Robotics Cordless Skype Phone

USRobotics announced today the USR9630 Cordless Phone for Skype and the USR9631 Accessory Handset, two devices that aren’t very robotic and probably aren’t made in the US. The USR9630 is a base station that can serve Skype through a landline as well as to a PC through USB. It can be connected with up to four USR9631 handsets to blanket the entire house.

What distinguishes this system from other similiar devices is that, when connected to a landline, it can also receive PSTN calls. Unfortunately, the base station is not capable of storing voice mail.
