Panasonic Announces WiFi Phone for Skype

Panasonic Communications is working to develop a WiFi phone for use with Skype. The WiFi phone will allow Skype users to send and recieve calls to other Skype users from any WiFi access point. Due out fourth quarter 2006, the WiFi phone core will also feature SkypeOut, SkypeIn, Skype Voicemail and call forwarding. The phone will not require browser authentication and it will be Skype certified.
