The Go Dance Glove, by Belmer Negrillo, is a tool that lets VJs to control their video mixing wirelessly with natural gestures, allowing them to hit the dance floor with everyone else. The prototype consists of a wrist brace, 8 pin-buttons (RFID tags) with icons that identify the basic commands for VJ’ing. The receiver is just a box connected to a computer via USB. It’s an interesting concept, but it seems that dancing would be really limited if arm and leg movements could alter the video every time they move. Who knows, maybe Belmber Negrillo has some sweet skills he’s not telling us about.

  • This seems like a cool and innovative concept. I know some DJs that would probably dig this gadget especially for times that they leave the booth and go out on stage or want to scam on some hottie at the bar.

It does have a way to go on the aesthetics, though. I doubt many DJs would go for the orthopeadic wrist brace look (but at least its not a sequined glove).
