Bagir iPod Suit

We’ve seen iPod enabled clothing in practically every design flavor, but, to the best of my knowledge, this is the first iPod-oriented suit. Created by Bagir, the iPod Business Suit uses Eleksen’s ElecTex smart fabric touchpad technology to transform the lapel into a five button electronic control panel. It’s wrinkle-resistant and machine-washable, but you’ll probably want to remove your iPod prior to washing. The iPod Suit will be available in five styles and carries an MSRP of $280.

  • I think is a pretty cool concept, but where is the target audience for this? I mean not to many people wear suits everyday. And when they do… they usually take their coats of in the office.

  • This would be nice for traveling on a plane, or if you work in a bank and wear a suit all day.

  • I get what they are going for but I don’t think it has much lasting applicability. If your clothes go obsolete after Steve Jobs shares his new gizmos with the world you’ve just added another item you have to update. Neat idea, but I wouldn’t buy it and I don’t know anyone else that would.

  • I know plenty of people that would be interested in this suit here in NYC, I might have to get one of these myself. Not everyone updates their ipods as frequently as they’re updated.
