<p>You should also know that the prices aren’t much different than standard SD cards, which is just USB icing on the 2GB cake.</p>

this is cool however i doubt that it is very practical considering the fact that it is very likely people will snap off the connector unless it is EXTREMELY sturdy. caution advised to the makers!

Uh, Sandisk has had a SD card with USB for over a year.
well, its not to mention that there have been usb memory sticks for a while too.
About time they make these things better.

Man, I’d lose the cap on the USB connector in about 3 seconds!
I seem to remember a similar prototype where there the cap would have a tiny plastic hinge to the rest of the SD card, and would flip back instead of coming off. That would be much better.
