Sony Gets Chic with New VAIOs

Sony has unveiled the VAIO N line of notebooks–These laptops feature Intel Core Duo processors (on select models?!), 15.4-inch XBRITE-ECO LCDs, DVD burners and integrated 802.11a/b/g wireless.
The specs are pretty basic to be honest, but the real draw is clearly the colored cases. The N series comes in black, white or brown. Seems a little superficial to me, but if you’ve been waiting anxiously for a turd colored laptop from Sony, your opportunity has just presented itself.

Uh, Sony has had colored laptops for sometime now.
@Deus
Apple paid Sony for collaboration in designing hardware a couple years ago which resulted in the brushed aluminum look and cheese grater.
I have 2 Sony Vaios and 2 Macs…and I like them all.

Hmmm, didn’t know that, but lately everyone and their mother is doing apple lookalikes and too be honest I’m getting a bit sick of it, yes apple looks nice, but I don’t want everything I own to like that…

Yeah, that looks surprisingly like a white MacBook with the vaio logo painted over the Apple… Except they don’t seem to have that funny MacBook keyboard.
