T-Mobile Mystery Logo
by Blake Robinson on September 13, 2006

Sascha Segan from Gearlog has noted a strange rumbling from the T-Mobile booth at CTIA. Featured on many of TMo’s new phones is the that five dotted logo. The logo is said to represent an, as of yet, unannounced new service. T-Mobile says that the service will be “debuting soon.” Some possibilites include GPS, personal teleporter, self-destruct or some sort of digital media delivery service (OK I made half of those up, you can guess which). What do you all think it represents?

I’m thinking TV

Pop-up holographic communications display.

Or maybe its a new logo.

I was in the store today talking to a friend and he showed me something about a home access point that T-mobile is supposed to be rolling out. Basically if you have a hi-speed connnection in your home, they are supposed to be able to gaurantee phone service in your house because of this add-on device/service. The materials I saw sported this logo, so perhaps they are branding devices that will work with the service with this mark….just a thought…

“5″ it’s been advertising in some cities, I’m still in the blue about what it actually is since people don’t really give a definate answer.

If it is “5″ I think I heard about a service that is coming to tmo where you can select five people on any network that you can talk to for free (like tmo to tmo minutes but any network)

that 5 things sounds plausible, those are 5 circles…

It’s the top-secret death ray service!

ok well i wouldnt be surprised if it was some type of media service or this 5 network thing yall are talking about.

It’s probably just a teleporter.

Actually, I’m 100% sure it is..

If you connect the dots in a certain way, you get a Pentagram.

So… maybe a teleporter to Hell?
