Flame Retardant Laptop Sleeves

Here’s a product that makes sense. This corduroy sleeve from Wrappers not only protects your laptop from injury, it protects you from being injured by your laptop. The sleeve, you see, is fire retardant, which sadly isn’t the same thing as fire proof, but it’s a start. So if your laptop decides to burst into flames while bouncing along in your backpack, it just might prevent you from erupting into a fiery inferno along with it.
These sleeves are billed for MacBook, but they’d probably fit some other models as well. It’s available now for about $30.

corduroy …. really….. what is this 1976.. can’t they come up with a fire retardant sleeve that isn’t made with left overs from the Brady Bunch costume department?

Not sure how much good this would really do. Probably isn’t designed to put out the fire, just not let it spread too much more. Haven’t most of the laptops that exploded been in use at the time of the “accident?” How does this help then? And orange corduroy?? I agree with Fezzik. Enough.
