Lovely. The "Hey, look! There goes Elvis!" of coffee machines. Fortunately Melitta generally knows how to make decent coffee overall. But what a gimmick to divert your attention from how crappy your brewed coffee tastes... it's genius.

Handy...but I'm too lazy to make my own coffee. My company has these nifty starbucks machines that brew a single cup of coffee in about a minute. If I turn on my computer before I go get coffee, it's almost ready for me to see the weather on google desktop by the time I have my coffee.

Frankly, I prefer the weather displays where you mount a wireless sensor outside of your house. You get really local weather that way, and not the weather downtown, or at the airport.

Plus, I bet the cost of the weather display and sensor combined with the cost of a regular coffee maker is still less than this thing.
