Sling Readies OS X Client
by Blake Robinson on September 15, 2006

In an interview with the Guardian, Sling Media CEO Blake Krikorian announced that a SlingPlayer for OS X would be available within the next week. He also promised that at least one other OS would be available by year’s end as well. Zatz Not Funny writes that Sling Media has posted job openings seeking coders for Symbian and/or Palm (J2Me), which could indicate the other OS that they’re eying.

Sounds like there is all sorts of busyness at the sling camp. With new FCC filings and new OSs supported it looks like they’re trying to stay progressive as challengers rise to oppose them. I hope it works out.
