They wanted to give flesh n' blood customers first dibs, I guess. Anyway, it's out, and it's sweet. I know at least two other writers for this site who are thinking of going BlackBerry now that this phone has hit. From RIM's <a href="http://www.rim.com/news/press/2006/pr-07_09_2006-03.shtml" rel="nofollow">press release</a>, dated September 7th: <blockquote>"The BlackBerry Pearl will be available from T-Mobile USA in the United States beginning September 12. It will also be available in October from Rogers Wireless in Canada and a variety of carriers in Europe. Availability in Asia-Pacific and Latin America is expected later this year."</blockquote> T-Mobile didn’t add the Pearl early. From RIM’s press release, dated September 7th:
