Motorola KRZR K1 Unboxed

Engadget Mobile got to unbox the new Motorola KRZR K1, excited? You should be!

The new KRZR K1 has gotten some upgrades including an easier to use key pad (no longer sticking out), light green LEDs for a better visual experience and improvements on the phone’s speaker. Nothing too big, but it’s quite flashy.

How do you pronounce that? Krazer? K-Razer?

I’m officially tired of dropping vowels from product (and web-site) names.

Neat-looking phone though.

Moto has some neat stuff coming… Anyone know when/which carrier the Motofone is coming to? I like the idea of a really basic GSM phone for traveling.

What carrier is this? At this point I wish someone would just tell me what phone to buy. I’ve been waiting for the Cingular 8525 (HTC Hermes) but I’m afraid it will be too expensive to justify.

Get the Blackberry 8700- it is a great handheld/phone. I see it is out on Verizon now too if that is your thing…
