Newegg has an internal promotion going on right now, offering various small electronics for $0.99 after rebate. Some things were pretty cheap already, but at $0.99 you can afford to stock up on a few in case the ones you’re using now break.
The items include a 2 gigabit ethernet adapter, Bluetooth dongle, USB 2.0 802.11b/g WiFi adapter, PCI Wireless Adapter, powered wireless antenna, 100Mbps ethernet switch, USB and Firewire hard drive enclosure, and a notebook wireless card. We can find a use for pretty much all these things around our house.

If they weren’t mail in rebates I might consider them. Mail in rebates take forever and a day to get back to you.
Funny this would come today. I was getting gas in Lost Hills, CA yesterday and due to some sort of mistake I got charged $1.00 per gallon. When I checked the gas pump the price for gas by cash was normal (about $2.75/gallon) but the price for all three grades when paying by CC was $1.00/gallon. When I finished pumping the price went back to normal, but sure enough I got 9.988 gallons and it charged me $9.98….. Spooky coincidence.
