I love this new soapbox… my friend was showing it me today… I am still awaiting an invite :(
forgot to say windows Live spaces intergration is what I am hoping for and if this is possible goodbye youtube hello soapbox :D
and you are right on zune Richard.
and not only on that since it uses the msn brand for something this will be used for msn shopping and msn groups integration, becuase that was the reason they choose the msn brand for it.
why msn gropus you ask, since i can bet you don“t have look at them for a while, becuase they are not loger free-free.
The opening video just cracks me up. Its like Napoleon Dynamite in a butterfly suit. Integrating this offering with the Zune is very savvy brand positioning for both Soapbox and Zune to compete against YouTube/GoogleVideo and Apple’s iPod. I’m not sure how I feel about WMV over FlashVideo. I really like Flash Video and I suspect it downloads quicker and has a better buffer rate. I only really use YouTube right now. I checked out Google Video but it just didn’t excite me and it lacked the diversity and volume of YouTube. That will be a challenge for MSN as well.
