dammit…i knew i should have bought those Ellen Degeneres show tickets. It seems like we are getting close to a full-on product launch with all the recent media attention.

@turfboi This is news because it’s part of a signifcant brand marketing strategy leading up to a major product launch for a new entrant (Microsoft) into a marketplace crowded by many players and a dominant presence (Apple) that could likely only be countered by a company such as Microsoft in terms of dollars and resources. Devices aren’t only successful for their features and design but also the marketing components that take them to brand recognition. …And the audience is receiving FREE publicly unavailable devices which means we might get more info and commentary in coming days.
