Here is a problem that plagues me pretty frequently. With all the product information we sort through here, dimensions can be some of the most arbitrary. Saying that something is 90mm long really doesn’t mean a damn thing to me.
Enter Sizeasy. This website allows users to input various dimensions that are then sized to scale with proportions held against other objects like playing cards, iPods, etc. So if you have a problem with spatial reasoning, you might want to give Sizeasy a looksie.

I checked out this site a couple weeks ago and its a novel idea. However, I found the poor resolution of the comparison items to be detracting from the otherwise clean site design. Just my gripe, but its still functional. However, you can only input very small sizes for comparison. The larget comparison object is a 19″ TFT flatscreen but all the others are relative small.
Am I the only one receiving a “Rails error” when trying to visit the sizeazy website? It doesn’t happen always but it’s annoying…
I never ran into a Rails problem on the couple times that visited and demo’d the app. Rails errors would be a server-side issue so maybe its been fixed by now.
looks great
