Sony Japan has announced a new professional grade HDV camcorder. The HVR-V1J incorporates a ClearVid CMOS Sensor and has 20x HD optical zoom.
Some of the other supported features include: progressive scan, last scene review, smooth slow recording, interval recording, and 1080i. It will be available later this year for 567,000 Yen, or about $4,900 USD.
