BenQ FP241W LCD, Now With HDMI
by Blake Robinson on September 27, 2006

BenQ is dropping a new 24″ widescreen LCD that includes HDMI support. It also promises a 100:1 contrast ratio, 6ms response time and a brightness level of 500cd/m2. In addition to HDMI, the display has inputs for D-sub, DVI-D, S-Video, composite and component.

I got one of those Dell widescreens with the intention of replacing the TV in my room with it, but it never gelled, partly due to the lack of HDMI support. I could definitely see this as being useful for those in studio apartments or dorm rooms. It’ll be available soon for $1299.
