How exactly will Sprint do this? Their phones are only usable on Sprint networks and there is no GSM/GPRS sim chip to change out if you want to use these expensive phones on other networks. I wouldn’t use Sprint if they held a gun to my grandmas head.
Also, all these tin horn Cell providers are extorting the hell out of their customers and especially in the pay as you go class which I consider to be child abuse since most of the users are kids. $.50 to $1.00 per minute is criminal.
Second, cell phones are for making calls. Notebooks and tablets are for surfing the net and downloading content with a KEYBOARD. Both use the cell networks but only T-Mobile treats its notebook based internet users like real customers by providing a lot of inexpensive choices.
Finally no number of shiny designy cool products is going to convince people to accept the cell providers general theme which is to screw us all by charging for services on a time based system. It has to be an unlimited use model or nothing.
They will “do this” by buying the CDMA version of these phones from Motorola. Same as Verizon has done. They aren’t using GSM phones. Same design, different guts.
well i am onnly eleven but i want this phone so bad i would enjoy it to have infered so i could just beam all my music on to it. and i am with sprint and i am still tryin to choose between the slvr and the krzr but i have till christmas but over all it is a great phone
I am very excited about the new phones that will be offered by
Sprint. I really got tired of cingular and alltel having access to these neat phones, but Sprint didn’t. As soon as November gets here I will definitely be getting the krzr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like Verizon but I’m currently on Cingular. Can’t wait to get out of contract. In my overall opinion Verizon!
That’s not Sprint’s K1m - it’s the GSM variant.
It also looks like the SLVR is the GSM variant as well.
