  • Uh, I don’t think any of those bikes are Harleys.

  • As cool as that would be, I can’t see it either 1) staying on the handle bars without shaking right off and smashing onto the ground or 2)functioning properly after a good ride on a big, bad, vibrating, LOUD Harley!

  • I got one from totalpda.com and it’s been great – alright so I have a BMW not a Harley but on a long tour it was class. I didn’t get lost once and could find petrol stations in the middle of nowhere. The mount’s really secure, there’s a release button and even then you have to wiggle the thing out of place. I got a free car kit with mine so i can use it in the motor too.

  • I have a Road King and a VROD in UK, just got the TomTom Rider and switch from one bike to the other with an additional bike mount, it’s not a problem with vibrations at all, absolutely brilliant, downloaded speed camera data, so you get plenty of warning for speed detection etc. plus all the Points of Interest, you can even take it walkies in the middle of london.

Just don’t leave it on the bike, they’ll steal it within minutes.

  • I used the Tom Tom for my 10,000 mile trip from Wiscosnin to Alaska and back with not one issue. I ride a road glide and bought ther Fuel door with the GPS mount built in from Kuraykan and the unit unit road great over the gravel roads and frost heaves. The great part is you can setit up so it will let you know when you are coming up to a gas station. What really is nice when you get in a city and trying to find your hotel—this really helped in the larger cities.
