TechCrunch got a sneak peek at SlideShare, a PowerPoint sharing system that allows you to upload presentations and then show them on any web browser. Think of it as the YouTube of presentations, only with less kids putting Mentos into Diet Coke.
While it’s not gadgety, it’s certainly mobile provided you use the right mobile browser. It can also be used as a sleep aid provided you find a presentation prepared by this guy I worked with years ago, Klaus. That boy could make a presentation that could put a sugar-high six year old to sleep.

This is the best title on a story about Slideshare :-)
Maybe we should add a “Most Boring” filter (kidding of course)
Rashmi (one of the creators of Slideshare)
So true–while nice, it is a boring development. People don’t want to share just a PPT anymore–business video is what’s hot and it’s what’s effective.
As I say here, there are companies doing much more note-worthy things with one-to-many communications and web-video. IBM and IVT launched a pilot using do-it-yourself webcasting/podcasting–now that’s a much more compelling subject.
why did they did this? Like toally.
Are they nice peoplea? Or mean people?
