We’ve got the event. We’ve got the venue. We’ve got the prizes. But we don’t have the sponsors. Dear readers, we need about $3,000 to make this thing work on Friday and still haven’t lined up hardware sponsors. I’d like to make an open plea to all you cool cats out there to sponsor our little fete this Friday. Here’s how it will go down.

A $1,500 donation will get the sponsor a one month banner there on the side of the page. A $500 donation will get a 1-week banner. Donors will also receive shout-outs in a weekly sponsors round-up for one month. We’ll also mention you at the event and in future event posts. We’ve got a SiteMeter that says we’ve got about 10,000 pageviews per day and an a FeedBurner tag that says we have 22,000 RSS readers, so we’ve got an audience, we’ve got drive, and we’re surprisingly friendly.
