More Wii goodness. Nintendo has released pricing and pictures of accessories for its upcoming console. It looks like the Wii is using USB for just about everything, which is good news. The first accessory (shown right) is the rumored wired LAN adapter, which is selling for 2,800 Yen. Inside you can find pricing and pictures of replacement power cords, composite cables, S-Video cables, component cables and a 512MB SD Card officially licensed by Nintendo. What are you waiting for?

Nintendo 512MB SD Card - 3,800 Yen

S-Video Cable - 2,500 Yen

Japanese Component Cable (D-Terminal) - 2,500 Yen

Component Cable - 2,500 Yen

AV Cable - 1,000 Yen

AC Adapter - 3,000 Yen
Hm, no wireless network adapter shown yet. Let’s hope Nintendo shows us one of those soon. (Yes, this is sarcasm).

The Wii has 802.11b/g built-in. The ethernet adapter is for people who don’t have home wireless networks.

Yeah, wi-fi is built in like on the DS.
I almost thought your last sentence was sarcasm… was it?

The Wii has built in wireless functionality… so I doubt you will ever see a USB wireless adapter

Glad to see Component support; unlike the game cube that quickly got rid of the Digital Out port. Still wondering how the DS will be used with Wii games (thank god for wireless support).

Good to finally see the component cable. Hopefully Nintendo will be selling these IN STORES now, since it’ll be a day one purchase for me. With them showing Wii on HDTVs and the upcoming HDTV console war between Sony and Microsoft, I’m pretty sure they will, though.

Kyle,
“Your”, is actually “You’re”. Simply because I don’t own any dumbasses.

Is there any benefit to getting S-video vs AV? I really don’t know the difference. I would advise getting an SD card off of newegg.com or any other online retailer as you can get a 512MB SD card for $12 + shipping.
Um, is that the power brick that Nintendo is SELLING!!?? Why the hell isn’t that bundled with the system? You might need it, I mean if you want to actually turn on the Wii and not just look at its shiny white color.

Some of you are seriously out of the loop.
1. No, the AV cables do not use the usb. That is the proprietary AV link at the end that connects into Wii’s propriety AV socket. Look at the picks on IGN or other sites there are 2 usb ports, AC input, AV multi use proprietary input and an input for the sensor bar.
2. They are selling the power brick for those that somehow break their’s or have an animal chew it up etc. It does come in the box.

fumar,
The power brick would be sold for replacement purposes. Like if some idiot went and spilled their imaginary water while playing wario ware*, and it went and shorted out the power brick’s :P
*I’m sure you have water in wario ware :P
I that a/v is NOT being outputted by USB…and neither power inputted (it looks like it’s a USB plug to me :S).
