Opera has since version 9 a IDN whitelist feature where countries/domains that have anti-phishing policies in the DNS can have their URL display properly otherwise IDN domains are shown using their character equivalents. i.e. myspace.com using cyrllic wouldn’t (shouldn’t - I can’t test it) work at all.
It would depend on all registrars for .com obeying the rules I guess - most tools are not allowing my to insert муspace.com instead of myspace.com so it is hard to see what is what. м is actually M in cyrllic and у is ooh. You have to look hard to see the difference …
