I have a e6 moto rokr it is asking for a unlock code.My sim card is not locked.Is there a reset code to handle this or am i screwed….

Hi to all moto rokr and other cell phone users. Hello to every guy. you all really good in comments. i read you all. and i really appreciate you. i also want help to you all or suggestion to buy a cell phone. i am also intrested in moto rokr e6 because of music but i compare it to HTC P3400 & HTC TOUCH.
these three phones i have selected. could you people plzzzzzzzzzzz advice me that which one will be better to me because i also want WIFI . or you people know some other mobile plzzzzzzz suggesss ok . thanku.. Sagar.

Well,
it took some time to get used to but after Modding the Rokr E6 to Quad band and Edge, I love this phone.
I’ve had it since Nov 07, and I paid about $300 now its a little cheaper these days but the E8 is comming out shortly so what can you expect but a price drop.
I reccomend it for any US based GSM carrier but onlt if you can handle the need to do some Modding!!!

First write or save all ur neccessary doc move it to draft then find out teh option for set up click on that
it will ask for folder psd

hold the green key (used to answer phone call) to turn on the backlight (believe me it’s brighter..).

Max cap for E6 SDCard: 4GB. (supported ONLY! like SAN…)

Not only 3G, u can enable EDGE!

sorry dost but u cannot lock folders in memory card………
but u can lock memory card for ur privacy

steps-
1. open file manager from rokr menu
2. open the properties of memory card by opening popup menu
3. now select properties of memory card
4. a screen will open , scroll down the screen and mark up
password protection and tap save
5. now write down ur password and when u will open memry card
it will ask for ur memory card to open

when u install any app or game or any other application it get stored into phone memory and not in the card. u can get space for ur application by unistaling preloaded applications and games…

And if i have used up all the phone memory then will i be able to install games/softwares on that. the bottom line…. can games/softwares be installed on sd card memory?

Hi,

There are two packs of Motorokr available the normal one does not have the snoop s9 headset and has a 1 gb memory card bundled with the phone. The premium pack includes the s9 wireless bluetooth headset, a 2 GB memory card, Handsfree (wired), datacable, and 2 cds with the software. The phone is very good in terms of a amusic player and the video playback is one of the best I have seen. I agree wi-fi should have been an option but these services are not available in India.

The premium pack is Rs. 13000 with bill and the normal one is Rs. 11000. That makes it cheaper than the N73 which retails around Rs. 15000 and I anyways am not a big nokia fan.

I like the phone in terms of the features and ease of use, also since music was an important factor for me, it was d reason I went for this.
