No I didnt get any help! None replied! :(

I tried everything! It seems that for some reason it doesnt communicate correctly! I noticed the difference when I tried it with a Sony Ericsson and it worked!

I have a nokia N91 but I cant get it to work with the watch! It seems that is it paired but doesnt show date time, doesnt alert for SMS or any calls!
What did you do to make it work?

There are no Sony Ericsson Series 60 devices. Never were.
Series 60 is the name of a UI platform Nokia uses on top of Symbian OS for their smarties. Sony Ericsson smartphones, on the other hand, use the UIQ platform which unlike their non-smartphones, as far as i’m aware, aren’t officially supported by the FX6001.

Alrighty, Now when i saw the Sony Ericsson version of this, i was off the hook. Mind you, im not really a SE fan. I prefer my N70 & planning to buy N95 or my last 6230i to ANY SE phone!!! But the damn watch concept I think is brilliant!!!

Ok, tomorrow my darling is getting me a bluetooth hands free as a present. Its a very much needed thing cos I as a trainer can’t be on the phone for so long too long. :) But the problem with a bluetooth also would be the same as bluetooth with a display. Especially when you want to be discreet, you can’t really use the ringer & you can’t identify a incoming call from the vibration alone without taking out the phone or taking off the bluetooth to check.

When you have a watch that is linked to your phone & a bluetooth hands free, when you get a call, simply look at your watch & answer your call from the hands free!!! Looks very techie as well!!! ; p

nice review. Just to let you know, vibrating alarms on a watch arent very new. I had a bulova watch about 30 years ago that had a vibrating alarm.

It should be noted that the watch you received was NOT the FX6001 you link to or even show an additional picture of.

Instead, you received, or rather, provide a working picture of the Abacus Watch version, which might be heavier, and is CERTAINLY styled differently:

I’ve pre-ordered the FX6001, so I’m glad to hear the one-trick pony performs its trick adequately, on a Symbian OS phone.

I’d love to see it scroll an SMS message text, but I don’t think such a bluetooth profile exists to allow that…
