Your site is a refreshing change from the majority of sites I have visited. When I first started visiting web sites I was excited by the potential of the internet as a resource and was very disappointed initially. You have restored my enthusiasm and I thank you for your efforts to share your insights and help the world become a better place.

[...] One of those, which Allard didn’t particularly emphasize, and which had been rumoured before, was the possible future ability for Zune users to receive a commission to sales of songs they recommend to other Zune users via the device’s Wi-Fi sharing.
[...] Op Techcrunch / Crunchgear wordt het verder besproken en afgekraakt: “ Briefly, it works thusly: if we have a song on my Zune we like, we can send it to your zune via WiFi. You can listen to the song three times for free within a 3 day window, then it will prompt you to pay for it ($1), lest it disables itself. If you do pay for the song we shared with you, then we would get a credit for turning you onto the song. Once we have enough credits, we can cash them in for free songs or other items from the Zune Marketplace. So it suits us to share, share, share. It’s sort of a backwards pyramid marketing scheme. “ [...]

[...] The Zune mystery thickens. Our CrunchGear rumorists have discovered that when you share a song via Wi-Fi using Zune’s three day/three play system AND the other party purchases the song later in the iZunes Music Store (IZMS), you get a credit that you can later trade in for music and media. Very clever, Microsoft, very clever. [...]

[...] Do you want to know something we hate? We hate it when there’s a really hot Internet rumor, the kind that gets our attention and makes you, our readers, stand up and take notice, and then it turns out to be total bullshit. Complete rubbish. Well, almost complete. We mentioned yesterday that we’ve been hearing buzz about Microsoft’s idea to compensate Zune owners for sharing their music virally, as that is one of the main reasons for the Zune’s existence. In a nutshell, the theory was that if other Zune owners buy music they downloaded from your Zune, you get credits. Amass enough credits, and they can be used to purchase songs. [...]

[...] Well, it’s a bit of a stretch for a headline, but hear us out. The guys at CrunchGear are hitting the rumor mill with news that the upcoming Microsoft Zune will come with a very interesting ability, one that just may give it an edge over the unmentionable white music monolith (at least if we ignore the crippled WiFi). Here’s how it goes. You already know that with the Zune, you can share your songs with other people. They can keep them for three days, or listen to them three times, after which they auto-destruct. If your friends wants to keep any given song, it’ll cost them, to the tune of a buck. But, the kicker is that, each time they do purchase a song, you’ll get a credit. You can later redeem these credits yourself for songs in the IZMS. This should give you an incentive to share like mad, in the hopes that your friends will buy. If the scheme works, it should make some mad cheddar for Bill and friends. [...]

That's an interesting rumor because Amie Street http://www.amiestreet.com already does this. I am a founder of Amie Street, and I am flattered that Microsoft would think that our idea of incentivizing members to share and recommend songs is so smart that they would borrow it. I wish they would have asked :), but I'm flattered none the less.
