Mission Impossible: III To Be Available on MiniSD
by Gavin Robinson on October 26, 2006

Nokia announced today that Mission Impossible: III will be released on miniSD in addition to the regular DVD treatment. Apparently, you can fit an entire movie on a 512MB card. The ambition is to allow users to watch miniSD movies on their phones. Right now, the movie is only available in Europe, but this might actually takeoff.

I know it’s a long shot, and people aren’t really getting into the “one phone to rule them all” mentality, but this is something different. Perhaps we’ll see this sort of thing in the States before too long. Of course, we’ll need cooler and better phones, but here’s hoping!
