I highly doubt that Sprint has jumped onto the GSM bandwagon. It just doesn’t seem possible.
I would say that it’s probably a typo, though Sprint does already have a smartphone that supports CDMA and GSM. The Samsung IP-830W is labeled as a Sprint International Smart Device. It only supports GPRS for GSM data though.
