I am a happy owner of Panasonic Toughbook W2, which weighs 2.7-pounds, has a 12.1 inch screen, an internal DVD/CDRW drive and a 7 hour battery life. It looks awesome. It has been on the market for over 3 years. In fact, I've had mine for over 3 years now... It was priced at about $2,200. So I have two points. 1) Panasonic does a really bad job in marketing their really superior and innovative products sometimes. 2) It's sad.
