Any solution for the problem of using gmail on a 3G internet connection from your PC? I’m having the same problem. It doesn’t work.

Sony Ericsson K850i announced - 5 megapixel camera

It won’t be here until late in 2007 but people are already waiting for the 5 megapixel Sony Ericsson K850i. New features include an automatic camera cover and updated software including a brand new media browser with Accelerometer (more about that in a moment). Similar to the K810i, the new K850i has small but well-spaced keys. There’s an even larger display – now 2.2 inches. Sony Ericsson have also added HSDPA, which means faster 3G downloads. The K850i camera is a 5 megapixel job and there’s loads of technology packed in to ensure your photos are as good as those taken with a dedicated digital camera. It has auto focus, image stabiliser, xenon flash and Sony Ericsson’s BestPic technology which takes nine shots in quick succession and lets you choose the best one. One of the most impressive new features is the Accelerometer which allows you to view photos in either portrait or landscape mode by simply rotating the phone. Hold it upright to view in portrait mode or sideways for landscape. Let’s not forget that the K850i is much more than just a cameraphone. It’s also a 3G videophone, a music player, a web browser, RSS reader and a mobile office. It’s capable of playing high quality video, 3D games and it has an FM radio plus stereo Bluetooth. All of Sony Ericsson’s gizmos are included such as TrackID, PlayNow, picture blogging, Push email – it’s all there. There’s 40 MB of memory built in and more can be added using either a Memory Stick Micro card or a microSD card.

Hi guys…
anyone else on gmail having problems ?
gmail is fine on adsl, but on my 3g card i can surf net no problem, talk on google talk no problem, but i cannot reply to any gmail mail. also cannot compose and send attachments. can recieve mail fine.
thought it was my beta firefox im using so tried IE but still same problem.
sometimes can reply to a mail but not always, especially if there is an attachment in it…
but gmail is fine on adsl so i know its not gmail themselves. 2 friends have also complained about their gmail on 3g today..

Installing Gmail app went smooth and everything is working great on my V800, it’s fast and cool. But I must say that for me, using 2 or 3 programs just to check my mail’s is stupid. I am using Movamail http://movamail.com/ for all off my accounts (incl. gmail) and I don’t think I will change it.
