MacBooks Now with Core 2 Duo at Apple

 from a Core Duo processor base to the more awesomer Core 2 Duo, and today it has. In addition, the Mac maker bumped the processors across the line, including its entry level MacBook at $1099. That’s something of a surprise, but a welcome one to be sure.</p>
<p>Though the Apple store is down right now, look for all the specs to be the same as before, save for the extra digit in the processor name. Prices, likewise, should all be about the same. Add a decent GPU with its own RAM, and we’ll sign up.</p>
