    This is a great player. I picked up a pink one (a NW-S705 2GB, and yes, it is very pink) on woot.com a couple of weeks ago. The sound is amazing. I have a nano, and have had a 15 GB iPod, and this is by far the best sound. The headphones make it. The combo of ear plugging and noise canceling does the job on noisy buses!

    The software is pathetic, and likely the only reason that this model did not take off. Also, I am a Mac (powerPC) person and there is no alternative that I have found for Mac. I have a work PC that I use to load songs, but it’s a pain using this after iTunes.

    If someone comes up with a drag & drop interface, I will crawl to their doorstep! Why does Sony shoot themselves in the foot with this garbage?
