If you’re one of the lucky people to live or hail from Philadelphia like myself, you’re in for a treat. A service called “Sound About Philly” has been released from GoPhila.com. The service is aimed at both residents and visitors of the best city on the planet and offers comprehensive tours, fun facts, lively music, interesting tales, and a bunch of other adjectives attached to nouns. Learn about the history of the city and how it came to be the thriving metropolis it is today. The service even offers an RSS feed so you can automatically update your iPod or MP3 player with new “interesting tales” frequently. If you’re not from Philadelphia or you won’t be visiting there anytime soon, then you should probably stop caring and go back to listening to ABBA.

  • hopefully they choose Philly over Abba…! Thanks for the post. We’ve got a couple new tech things coming out of Philly these days, like a BYOB Google Map Mashup (www.gophila.com/byobmap) and a new insider’s blog (www.uwishunu.com) which are two things a Philadelphian like yourself might enjoy.

    Thanks!
