requesting for himself, not for the former Senator, but name-dropped Edwards to do so. However, this still does not change the fact that Wal-Mart issued its statement, which was what I was originally commenting on above.

You see, Sen. Edwards is from the wrong party. Wal-Mart contributes to the other guys.

Largely because his party tries to fuck with the company every chance they get. Maybe they just want bigger bribes.

You clown. Edwards released a statement that made it very clear that the staffer overheard his wife mentioning that they wanted to get a PS3 for their young children, and the staffer acted on his own, very misguidedly, and used the Senators name in a completely inappropriate manner. It’s jackasses like you who continue to spread this crap that keep any genuinely good people from wanting to throw their names into the public arena by seeking office. You wanna know why we end up with idiots running our country. Because of you and people just like you.

I was just reporting on a press release issued by Wal-Mart. Maybe instead of calling me a clown and a jackass you should/could provide a link to the Edwards’ statement so that our readers might benefit.

Wow…bottom line here is that WalMart screws over working Americans. Their benefits are no better than one of Stalin’s backyard steel mills and the reason their prices are so low is because they don’t include the costs that WalMart’s products have on our environment overall economy (like shipping responsibility and jobs off to China). I don’t mind Senator Edwards, I think he’s made it pretty clear that he’s standing up for the middle class and the thousands that are in poverty in this country, I don’t think a Wal-Mart press release is really going to take that away from him.
But leave it to Wal-Mart to take a public swipe at a politician who has the guts to call them out on their bullshit….its about time.
