Hello,
First things first.....I really love your blog....i have "Ctrl+D " it

Well i think that vista was a the final nail in the coffin of MS... Vista was a resource hungry monster....
And te disappointing fact is inspite of all the resources provided it did nothing different from XP (at least on the surface)....

Not only that but the manner people were made to vista ,literally by pointing a gun at their head ,remember the time when they said that they will be closing all support to XP,many people got scared and opted on to Vista ...and when they say that this was not scary enough but people were moving toward linux they cancelled their plans to discontinue support to XP.

Many people have kept the grudge and belive me when ever the "blackwomb" (clould, sunshine, rain 7,8,9 what ever) comes out ..no one is going to buy it

Except for MS office no one is using an of their stuff,

MP3's - vlc or itunes
Internet - firefox,crome.....
Movies - vlc

photos - photo shop

I am predicting in another 20 years MS will bw bank rupt

As a grey-hair that still remembers a few CPM commands, there will always be a place in my arsenal for command-line functions. I don't believe a day goes by where I don't pull up a console window to get something done.
