We came across a cute little website today. This website has a piece of software called UnZoone on it. UnZoone is a piece of software designed for removing Zune software and all the bugs that come with it. Though a small tool (128kb in size), UnZoone is powerful.
It deletes everything from registry entries to those pesky DLL files that get leftover even when you use an uninstall tool (one that isn’t UnZoone that is). Seems the author is really hellbent on making sure Zune software doesn’t stay on your computer, as he plans on “constantly updating” UnZoone. Most excellent dude. Why settle for less until we get something decent?

Why would you want to buy a Zune and install the software (or attempt to) in the first place?
Another sad day for Micro$oft. I knew people are having trouble installing it but the Zunes own uninstaller fails at it’s simple task as well? Tell me why was this every dubed the “iPod Killer”?
Microsoft never dubbed it the “Ipod killer”. Bloggers and review sites did that.
Ive had problems with the Zune software updating to 2.3 on my computer. My computer would not let me remove it until I found Unzoone. I used Unzoone to uninstall the Zune software from my computer and then reinstall the software so i could have my problem fixed and have it working again and it actually succeeded in doing the job.

….this is fucking ridiculous. I have been searching high and low for anyone who can fix the stupid error message I keep getting. “Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error” NO ONE knows how to fix it. Or do anything. So fuck it. Fuck Zune. Fuck this.
Unzoone is the single greatest piece of software related to the zune availible.
I actually prefer the Zune over iPod. For the mere fact that once I get over the hump of actually installing the damn thing, it works a hell of a lot easier.
My iPod fucked up so much when I had it. Apple products elude me. I gave the damn thing to my little brother and it works perfectly fucking fine.
But whatever, I’m glad this is here, because apparently I can’t uninstall the software from the error I was having.
Despite it’s minor flaws, Microsoft still has my vote.
