At the risk of sounding like a dinosaur Analog audio still has it over the glitzy hyped sound of low sample rate digital. I have 50 years experience in high quality disc recording and though my hearing is less than golden the difference is still noticeable. I have found Bose to be overhyped for years. It's an intangible comfort aspect of a product to think that it's "cool" and "high quality" even if it's not. With products such as these where the user should instantly be able to know if it's good or not (because the consumer is listening to it and making a judgment on the spot), then it really is only as high quality to the consumer as it is interpreted. Basically, if someone doesn't know their audio equipment is bad, then it's not bad for them. And if they want to pay a higher price to convince themselves as such, then Bose should consider those marketing dollars well-spent.
