I have had one of these for one season, I use it when I am aggressively snowboarding, I have taken a few spills, and the headfone jack for the ipod has failed it seems to be a weak link with this pack. I am currently playing hell trying to get it repaired.

How anyone can consider this a "redneck" product must be a real city slicker. Ha ha. A Camelback is a truly necessary item in our area where cows on the trail rule and mountain biking would be no fun at all with bike mounted bottles. I think the shop I work at might stock a couple next year.

Why work with camelbak, they should work with a company like drink hydration. This company will work more with you and offer better customer service.

I don't really see this as a "redneck" product. I personally see alot of extreme sports enthusiasts picking this up as it has a bit of an edge to it.

Well, Nike IS a slightly larger company than Skullcandy. I think its gonna be marketed as an ultra-niche product--who knows how many of these things they'll even run off the assembly line? Either way, little birdies suggest that this will be the first product in an ongoing relationship between the two companies, which could lead to way-cool things.

So is this marketed to the "geek-wannabe-redneck" or the "redneck-wannabe-geek"? I have a feeling the Nike CORE will do much better...
