The intro is cool but it goes downhill after that. I have to agree with everyone else that judging by the content, this media placement is destined for a partner/integrator audience rather than consumers. Their consumer ads are going to have to be really great.

I like the Mac ads...but the concept is wearing out.

Sounds like they are trying to pitch resellers and microsoft integrators, not consumers. Cheesy music, and what's with the guy jumping sideways?

I'm a devoted PC user, but this ad actually makes me consider mac..

This is not a consumer advertisement. As mentioned, probably to be used at one of the partner launch events (last few frames show 'Partner Opportunity'). Showing things like XBox, mobility, etc.. it actually makes a lot of sense because it refers to all the ways partners can use it.

Also, not even Microsoft could afford 1:43 TV advertising slots. Hang tight, the consumer stuff is pretty good.

I think that music is some version of "Jump Around" by House of Pain. My favorite are the helpful captions: "A significant new business opportunity." It might be an ad for resellers.

This looks more like a thrown together pitch ad by an advertising agency hoping to land Microsoft as a client. I find it hard to believe that Microsoft would release this. I call foul.
