I was in NYC at the time (my good friend saw the whole thing happen from his classroom window). That being said, people overseas are very curious. In many ways, theres is an innocence or at least unintended interest that can teeter or the edge of rudeness. This may be an example of just that. I cant say. One thing is for sure, I hope there was not an American in the ad firm that approved this nonsense.
