If you’re the proud owner of a 2G iPod Shuffle, but just can’t seem to get used to needing the dock for syncing, then have a gander at the ShuffleBud from Incipio. It is a small adapter that connects to the 3.5mm port on the Shuffle to give it USB access.
If you opt to use it, you can forgo carrying around the Shuffle’s dock and cables, because the ShuffleBud does all the same tasks even with its reduced size. Oh, and the best part is that it only costs $6.

If there was that Apple Logo on the otherside of the USB connector, you’d see the price jump from 6 to 20. Not saying Dell wouldn’t do the exact same though…
Smart item, might pick one up for my bro…
Great stocking stuffer for those that have the shuffle. You would have thought Apple would have come up with this on their own…
Haha, they did, it’s called the dock, and it costs 29.00 from the Apple!
IMHO they blew it with the shuffle by not building the USB plug into the device. Having one these as a hybrid mp3/USB Storage Key would have been great. Unfortunately you have to cartry around yet another adaptor to plug it into the PC with. My old Shuffle is great as I have some podcasts, documents and portable apps on it.
this make the shuffle actually worth it. 6 bucks is cheap!
I haven’t really been catching on to this concept. Either way you have to carry something extra with you. This “buddy” is a bit more compact and does away with the longish cord, I suppose. And hopefully it will work for those who have managed to tragically bend the clip. I do like the little lanyard feature.
For $6.00 I guess I don’t have to get overly philosophical about it. If I see one, I know I’ll be buying one–if only for insurance against the inevitable day when I lose the official Apple dock.
Amazing!
I wished for it and someone has already made it. Just need a good website to tell you it now exists and is ready for purchase. Only took me 5 minutes and already have 2 of these on the way for me and a friend.
