Now a city council in the UK is offering a free service that allows you to receive an excuse via SMS so you can “get out of boring parties.”
It’s all part of an initiative for playing it safe when you go out on the town to down some booze—and to be honest, we think it’s a great idea. You can also get numbers of licensed cabs and win prizes via SMS too. Now if only they brought this stateside, we’d be set for unlimited nights of drunken debauchery.
