If you’re the kind of guy or gal who likes to hit the trails instead of the pavement and has a boatload of chest-hair to show off that Brawniness inside you, then there is an iPod case for you. H2O Audio makes some decent cases for protecting your valuable electronics and the Outdoor Case for the iPod Nano is no exception. Though a bit costly at $40, this clear plastic case comes with an armband, removable belt clip, and is shock resistant.
Unfortunately and ironically though, the case is not waterproof. Kind of takes away from the $40 you have to shell out for it. If you want one badly though, they’re available now in most stores.

One of these days, when they’ve really gotten video manipulation down to a science, you are going to see product placement in re-runs.
Imagine, David Hasselhoff running down the beach to save a drowning child while wearing an iPod Nano in the water-resistant case. Better yet, Pam Anderson has one of these wedged in between her…..
Anyway, you get the idea.

H20 kinda implies waterproof. I guess the heaphone jack is tough to make waterproof. I’ll stick with my duct-tape-ziplock-velcro-strap for 39cents.

This secondary market for accessories on just ipods is just astonishing. This probably cost them $3 in materials. $40 to protect a $149 device…

I’d go Otterbox for a waterproof (to 3′) solution
