You keep it in your laptop, where it disappears, so as long as your laptop is safe, so are your secrets.

Yeah, if your laptop disappears you are really screwed…

This would be pretty sweet to replace those ‘dummy’ cards that they are stuffing into the PCMCIA slots nowadays.

My HP comes with a remote that fits in there, but if it weren’t for that, I would definitely pick one up.

I love the examples on the website.

The woman with the empty toliet paper roll is hillarious, because i always have my laptop with me in the stall at starbucks. I heard that actors do math in their head when they want to make a face and can’t think of one. She is totally saying 324*13 hmmm 3 times 4 is 12 carry the one plus 6 = 7 ……

The guy with the “little black book”….hello! Outlook ..plus his little black book is thin enough to fit in the thing

Can someone please explain “emergency hardware”

it would be funny is if someone bought this thing and then put a powerful magnet in there….

Hm, so now that ExpressCard is taking over, are they going to release a new version?

I have to agree that the toilet paper lady is ridiculous - who’s going to take their laptop into the bathroom with them?

Yikes.

That is surprisingly ingenious. People can sit and use their laptop for years, slugging along a separate pack to carry their small SD cards or whatever, but if you just store it in there… brilliant!

adi: I’d assume they’ll make a new one. And hey! Some of us post to popular gadget blogs on our laptops from the bathroom. (Not me, of course, I was referring to Blake).

sorry, guys, i think this idea is completely dumb. do you also have a “false lycol can” you keep your money in? yeah thieves know about that too.

1. if you store anything in it in your laptop, i just picked up the item i’m most interested in anyway and you just handed me “extras”
2. if it’s not in your laptop, but your bag, i take that and get it anyway.
3. ‘Who’ instead of ‘w’tf carries cards ‘on thier person’? [socks are better for that sort of thing]
4.most flash/sd cards are uncsecured. unlike your hdd’s admin account [...hahaha]
5. people don’t know better. put this card and “a lifetime of taco bell” in front of one of someone and they’d pick the card because it “goes in a computer” so it must be worth money…

[exaggeration for emphasis, ecoli not included, please see nearest robber for details...lol, next...]

You could probably bake a small cake in there. Play quake 3 on ur laptop and you’ll have brownies in 25-35 minutes (depending on the laptop). Very nice.

Ahh.. you can’t go wrong with bathroom-humor.

I’m still a fan of that Bluetooth mouse which you could store and charge in your pcmcia slot.

me too, from what i gather it should be a superstrong mouse with perfectly “ergonomic” features

and for potty humor, it’s called the “MoGo” - that doesn’t need any help… :)

I so want one.

Would a credit card - dimension: 85.60 × 53.98 mm (3.370 × 2.125 in) - or business card fit in it?
Could you give us the dimension of the inside.

Thank you

Seen this before, and the mouse is my favorite so far, but the price has kept me from buying

DrDrew’s original post makes me think that he is the type of person who thinks he would make a perfect theif but has never stollen anything. This isn’t some special hidden security box, it is a way to turn unused space into useable space. And as far as your point 4 goes any hard drive that someone has local access to is unsecure.

I think this product would be great for storing all those tiny SD cards that currently sit in a match box at the bottom of my laptop bag. I’m buying one, I’ll be the first on my block.
